The Theban Sphinx is undoubtedly my favourite Greek monster — she’s much creepier than the noble Egyptian version.Still  not sure about the wings.  I originally didn’t intend to include them  (was concerned they’d make her look either too regal or too whimsical),  but in the end I decided to be true to the original myth.

My niece and I will often amuse ourselves during boring social functions or long car rides by drawing comics back and  forth.  Most of these  feature the adventures of Captain Dodoman, a wannabe ninja superhero who  likes to drop-kick neighbourhood children and steal their ice cream.
